Yes, I`m completly overwhelmed by everything.
It`s late night on Saturday here in Norway and I just returned from a trip in my boat.
As usual I just have to check emails and how the business are doing.
My inbox was packed with emails telling me about new Free Tour takers and member upgrades.
According to the latest stats my team is now well over 6000 paid members. WOW - and this after only around four weeks in this program.
Every week I have received my commissions on time and this program are doing real well.
A couple of days back I invited a few close friends and business associates with me on a trip in my boat. My three friends are also in this business with me in my team and my main reason for inviting them was to have their opinion about it - and - see where we take this business.
All where over excited about what we had experienced and we all agreed to take this a step further.
Now before we went out I had done a research on several details the members in our team. To my surprise I could see that many did not have any personal signups and did not even get their monthly member fee covered with what they earned.
There is really nothing special about that in network marketing but I did expect more with this program. I`s ok to be a passive participant in a program like this because you can STILL earn from it. One can even earn $1092 without ever sponsoring a single person witch is way more than what on do in most programs.
But why, when all it takes to get the monthly cost covered is to bring in three members?
Be passive - but why not bring in three other that wants to be passive? That would cover the monthly cost and spillover would make one earn a lot more over time.
What is the reason for this was my next question.
Was it because they where just lazy?
Was it because they are uncertain on how to do that?
Was it because they did not know anybody they could ask?
Was it because they just don't know how to market on the Internet?
We had a long discussion around it and concluded that it had to be a combination on all the above.
So after establishing this as a fact we asked our selves if there was anything we do to make this situasion better.
Several solutions where looked at and we did the math on the comp plan. And the comp plan is a very good one that makes it possible for everyone to earn. Of course there is a big award for those who sponsor from the 50% matching bonus and the power pools.
But this do not help those who stay passive.
Looking at what would the most important for us - namely that everyone could benefit from our team work we came up with a plan. As I already send traffic from my own advertising to my direct sponsored members I felt that we could take this a step further.
I did have a hard time at first convincing my friends that this was really a win win situasion for all of us - but they just had to agree when they did the math on it.
My suggestion was the following. I would give away my own signups to the members that signed up with me as a sponsor. It works like this:
A member signs up from my link. The next that signs up from my and the leader teams marketing is signed up under that member. When he have three direct sponsored members we focus on the next and so on.
This way we can build the matrix from left to right, one level at the time and see to that everyone that joins us get the cost of their position covered as soon as possible. This way they would stay as a member and we could stop attrition witch can be a real problem in some programs.
wouldn't we loose a lot of money this way?
Yes and no!
Remember that the matching bonus is 50% on direct sponsored members and 30% on their sponsored members. Third level is 20%
So We would loose some as we would earn 30% on those we gave away instead of 50% but we would keep more members staying in our downline.
So we loose some and win some - but in the end of the day we have a better earning downline.
Remember that our success is dependent on YOUR success no matter how you look at it. If we don't have members that earn - we don't earn.
